Meet The Artist: Chrissi Kino
I play with words, trace coherence with symbolism, and study the point where opposites align. ♤♡♧◇

Hi! I’m an artist and writer who enjoys looking at the world through symbolism.
I also study various juxtapositions and the points where those opposites meet in order to find a healthy balance. This makes me naturally interested in mediation, emotional integration, and relational harmony.
After years of trial and error—emotional roller coasters, experiential ups and downs, and figuring out the clearest way to present my work—I’ve finally grounded myself enough to share what’s inside my heart. Sincerely, thank you for making your way here.
This is a platform where I share what supports my mental health through art and practice; it reflects the ways in which I navigate life’s frustrations and overwhelm with curiosity, care, and personal growth.
Skull And Moss embodies the continual and everlasting integration of my mind, body and soul, and I hope sharing my work supplements your life in beautiful, meaningful, and incrementally transforming ways. You can learn more about why I chose the words “Skull And Moss” here.
Find The Silver Linings
In the beginning, my way to cope with challenges was to “find the silver linings” in every situation I could. It seemed to work well for me and I don’t doubt that it did, but as I grow and learn more, I find myself faced with the fear of being misunderstood to encourage bypassing. Thus, I’ve found new language to support these foundations I’ve built:
In the moment we experience something, we are forced to create quick meaning.
This quick meaning is formed by how we already are—how our minds work, what conclusions we’ve drawn from past experiences, and what we hope the future will be like.
Sometimes, in order to find the value—the silver lining—within an experience, we must counterbalance the chaos of quick meaning with the peace of sitting in a quiet spot to process it all.
I aim to integrate so that my heart and mind stop fighting—because when they agree, the path toward my goals becomes that much clearer.
To integrate something means to unite/ combine/ merge. By finding the silver linings, I aim to integrate my skull and moss (my mind and body).
To me, “Find the Silver Linings” means sitting in peace, processing experiences, feeling emotions, and integrating these often-conflicting pieces of myself in a way that softly nudges me toward harmony between heart and mind.

And The Silver Linings Appear
Again, thank you so much for making your way here. I hope we can learn new things together and come to new understandings that improve the quality of our lives.
